I’m Liza – a wedding, portrait and fine art photographer living and working (and hiking, camping, drinking beer, playing board games and making art) in the San Francisco Bay Area.
I graduated with a degree in fine art from UCSC with a focus on painting, and while I will never forget that first love, I have since fallen for photography. I have now been working as a full time photographer under the name Juniper Spring Photography since 2010. For several years I focused on pursuing my passion for documenting weddings and family life, but I found I was missing the fine art world. I am now thrilled to expand my work to include creating fine art portraits of women. I take commissioned work for classic and creative portraiture, as well as creating my own artwork. I’ve been dabbling in conceptual portraiture, nature, and even playing around with encaustic wax. My first series of work, “Rest“, is currently on display in Denver.
